Controllers
ZVS flyback chipset
EZ-PD™ PAG2
The EZ-PD™ PAG2 family consists of a secondary-side controlled chipset with integrated USB PD, synchronous rectification and PWM. It supports PD 3.1 SPR with PPS and 28 V EPR and allows power levels of up to 140W for chargers and adapters with 28V per 5A capability.
PD controller + DC-DC controller
EZ-PD™ CCG7SC (single port) & EZ-PD™ CCG7DC (dual port)
The EZ-PD™ CCG7xC is a highly integrated dual-port USB type-C power delivery family with integrated buck-boost controllers, perfect for multi-port AC-DC charger/adapters and cigarette lighter adapters.
Are you looking for a USB-C power adapter solution with a design greater than 100W? Infineon’s REF_140W_HFB_PAG2S was developed for USB-PD adapters with a wide AC input range and output voltage from 5 V to 28 V. The nominal output power of this design is 140 W. It features the industry’s first PD3.1 28V EPR secondary-side controller EZ-PD™ PAG2S-PS with integrated USB PD and synchronous rectification (SR). The primary controller is the PFC + hybrid flyback combo IC XDP™ digital power XDPS2221 in conjunction with GaN- and Si-based power switches.
