This LDO LP3878MR-ADJ linear regulator from Texas Instruments is used to manipulate the voltage level of your circuit. It has an overall accuracy of ±1 %. Its typical dropout voltage at current is 0.001@100uA|0.15@200mA|0.475@800mA V. This voltage regulation device's single output can produce a current up to 0.8 A. With a small input voltage of 2.5 V and a max of 16 V, this will supply sufficient power to your circuit.
