This LDO LP3878MR-ADJ linear regulator from Texas Instruments is used to manipulate the voltage level of your circuit. It has an overall accuracy of ±1 %. Its typical dropout voltage at current is 0.001@100uA|0.15@200mA|0.475@800mA V. This voltage regulation device's single output can produce a current up to 0.8 A. With a small input voltage of 2.5 V and a max of 16 V, this will supply sufficient power to your circuit. With an adjustable output that has a voltage of 1 to 5.5 V, this is power management at its best. At a line regulation of 0.01%/V(Typ) a constant current can be produced at the output of your circuit. In order to ensure parts aren't damaged by bulk packaging, this product comes in tube packaging to add a little more protection by storing the loose parts in an outer tube. Its polarity is positive. This voltage regulation device has an operating temperature range of -40 °C to 125 °C. The maximum dropout voltage is 0.002@100uA|0.2@200mA|0.6@800mA V.
