The PaLFI Evaluation kit contains all components required to evaluate and operate the TMS37157. The kit comes with an eZ430 MSP430F1612 USB development stick, and an MSP430 Target board including an MSP430F2274 plus the TMS37157 PaLFI. A battery board for active operation in addition to an RFID Base station reader/writer provide the infrastructure for various evaluation set ups. The TMS37157 combines a Low Frequency Transponder Interface with an SPI Interface and power management for a microcontroller. It is the ideal device for any configuration-, data logger-, sensor- or remote control application. The Transponder memory is accessible both via an SPI and wireless LF HDX RFID interface.
