Development Kit Description:

The Kairos Development Kit provides a simple method of evaluating and developing Time-Sensitive Ethernet network application with Kairos TSN Ethernet switch. This kit includes all hardware, software and documentation needed to speed integration of TSN solution into your design.

Carrier board:

   • 1 x Kairos 3 port Ethernet switch

   • 1 x Exor NanoSOM™ module with i.MX6 UltraLite Processor (industrial grade)

   • 2 x 100Mbps Ethernet TSN ports

   • 1 x 10/100Mbps CPU Ethernet port

   • 2 x USB 2.0 Type A

   • 2 x Micro USB ports (OTG programming port and debug port)

   • 1 x SD card slot

Development Kit Features:

   • IEEE 802.1Q-compilant Ethernet Switch

   • IEEE 802.1Qbv Time-Aware scheduling support

   • IEEE 802.1Qbu/IEEE 802.3br Frame Pre-Emption support*

   • Full-duplex Ethernet interface at 100Mbps on two ports

   • User-configurable reliable store-and-forward or low-latency cut-through operation mode

   • 8 priority queues per port

   • 4096 simultaneous VLANs

   • Comprehensive filtering database with learning, station movement and aging support

   • Evaluation version of Exor OpenHMI IIoT platform and Codesys SoftPLC IEC61131
