Quickly implement your AI/ML designs, using the industry’s lowest power, most secure and smallest factor FPGA’s.
As artificial intelligence moves to the edge, algorithms are required to be processed locally on a hardware device. Computation at the edge requires a device that can handle a sufficient workload, while maintaining low power because of thermal constraints. Microchip Mid-range FPGA’s offer the lowest power and smallest form factor in the industry. These enable the delivery of high throughput at low power, allowing them to be a great option for implementing Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. With the introduction of the VectorBlox™ Accelerator Software Development Kit the issue of enabling software engineers to be able to scale neural networks with FPGA-based AI solutions is in effect solved. The PolarFire™ SoC Icicle Kit with it is RISC-V hardened processor will address the need for processing to be real-time execution in AI/ML at the edge. The Hello FPGA kit is a low-cost board developed to help those with low-mid knowledge on FPGAs begin their journey, it is packed with demos in Image Processing, Signal Processing, and Artificial Intelligence.

3. Hello FPGA Kit
The Hello FPGA kit was introduced to as a starter point to help people with low knowledge on FPGAs. It is a low cost, compact sized kit that can perform power demos in Image Processing, Signal Processing, and Artificial Intelligence. The kit also can also measure the live FPGA core power consumption while running designs and can use a flash freeze mode that will freeze the design and maintain the I/O state of the low power application.

5. FPGA Security
Microchip FPGA takes Cyber security as a #1 concern for connected devices on the edge. Many designs today need much more than just meeting functional requirements; these requirements must also be met in a secure way. The security process starts during silicon and has to continue to be addressed through system deployment and operations. Microchip FPGAs have features that prevent overbuilding and cloning, have tamper detection and responses, while making sure the hardware stays secure with a root of trust. It is all of these different security features that make Microchip’s PolarFire FPGA one of the most advanced secure programmable FPGA.
