Texas InstrumentsLM117HLinear Regulators

Low-dropout positive regulator in a TO-3 package that supports a maximum output current of 1.5 A, maximum input voltage of 40 V, and voltage output range between 1.25 V and 37 V.

The LM117H is an adjustable, low-dropout voltage regulator with an input voltage range between 4.25 V and 40 V, and a voltage output range of 1.25 V to 37 V. The LM117H has a maximum output current of 1.5 V and an 80-dV ripple rejection. The load regulation of the LM117H is 0.3%, while the line regulation is 0.02% per volt. Multiple protection systems are incorporated, including current limit, thermal overload protection, safe area protection, and short-circuit protection. The output voltage is determined with the use of two external resistors, and one capacitor at each voltage rail provides stabilization. The operating voltage of the LM117H is -55°C to 150°C, with a junction to case of 21°C/W and a junction to ambient of 186°C/W.

  • Electricity meters

  • AC drive power stage modules

Use the standard LM117H linear regulator from Texas Instruments to maintain a constant output voltage. This voltage regulation device's single output can produce a current up to 0.5 A. Using the part will provide the power your application needs by requiring a voltage only of 4.2 V and not exceeding a voltage of 40 V. With an adjustable output that has a voltage of 1.2 to 37 V, this is power management at its best. By operating at a load regulation of 0.3% and line regulation of 0.02%/V you can provide a constant voltage at your output. Its polarity is positive. This voltage regulation device has a minimum operating temperature of -55 °C and a maximum of 150 °C.
