During FY2024, the Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) facilitated more than $3.4 billion in technology product and service sales to eligible customers. Texas state agencies that are part of the executive, legislative and judicial branches are required by Texas Government Code (TGC) 2157.068 to purchase hardware, software and technical services through DIR contracts.

DIR contracts also serve: 

• Institutes of higher education
• K-12 school systems
• Cities
• Counties and special districts within Texas 
• Public entities outside of Texas via executed interstate cooperation contracts

Texas DIR contract access is a powerful vehicle both within and outside the state itself. It’s this level of access that immixGroup offers to its solutions providers. 

immixGroup was officially awarded the Texas DIR-CPO-5688 contract and it is fully transactional, effective May 14, 2025.
 
DIR-CPO-5688 replaces DIR-TSO-4315 and it offers broad opportunities to support solutions providers in delivering software, commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) products and related services to a range of eligible public sector customers. 
 
And while DIR-CPO-5688 replaces DIR-TSO-4315, all current reseller agreements under DIR-TSO-4315 have been carried over to DIR-CPO-5688.
  
Key highlights of DIR-CPO-5688 include:

• Timeline: DIR-CPO-5688 will run from May 14, 2025 through May 14, 2027, with one optional two-year renewal and two optional one-year renewals which can extend the contract through May 2031. This ensures long-term revenue opportunities.
• Turnkey solutions. Hardware and hardware maintenance are permitted under DIR-CPO-5688, but only as part of a turnkey, or bundled, solution.
