Free Webinar: Connecting IoT Applications with STM32WB and Bluetooth Mesh
Join this free webinar from STMicroelectronics and learn how to quickly implement long-range, secure, and reliable connectivity between multiple Bluetooth-enabled devices.
This one-hour webinar will start with a discussion on the fundamentals of Bluetooth mesh and how it compares to other 802.15.4 protocols in the 2.4 GHz frequency range. We will then take a comprehensive look at the components of Bluetooth mesh before introducing you to an integrated system-on-chip solution capable of running large-scale Bluetooth mesh device networks.
Bluetooth mesh is a wireless topology that enables many-to-many communication, and is particularly suitable for building and home automation solutions including lighting and sensor networks. During the session we will introduce the STM32WB, a 32-bit multi-protocol system-on-chip (SoC) with the capability to power Bluetooth mesh proxy nodes, friend nodes, relay nodes—and most importantly, low-power modes.
You will also discover a rich development ecosystem designed to remove the complexity and greatly simplify Bluetooth mesh implementation in your project. Finally, we will show you where to find useful examples within the STM32CubeWB software ecosystem to help you evaluate your design and get your prototype up and running.
You will learn:
• The basics of Bluetooth mesh and its components
• The benefits of using the STM32WB SoC for your Bluetooth mesh network
• About ST's development ecosystem solutions to help you get started on your STM32WB-based Bluetooth mesh prototype
• Where to find firmware examples and compatible smartphone apps
There will be a live Q&A session at the end of the webinar where ST’s experienced engineers will be available to answer your questions.
