Description
- TI Precision Verified Design provides theory, component selection, simulation, PCB design, and measurement details for a PWM to 12-bit resolution analog signal conversion circuit. Methods for selecting the passive filters order, cutoff frequency, and component values are included. This design example includes a 12 bit filter but the methodology can be applied to target other desired resolutions. This design also includes a test circuit, which is required to confirm that the output error (ripple) meets the design requirements because it cannot be directly measured using standard test equipment
