Use this usb power distribution switch TPS2068CDGN USB powered Ethernet switch from Texas Instruments to control which one of your devices draws power. This will operate at a minimum voltage of 4.5 V and a maximum voltage of 5.5 V, making it easy to control the power in your circuit. Its current limit is 2.15 A.
