Use this high side switch and usb power distribution switch TPS2056AD USB powered Ethernet switch from Texas Instruments to control which one of your devices draws power. It only needs a voltage of at least 2.7 V while not exceeding 5.5 V to effectively power your circuit. Its current limit is 0.5 A.
