Use this high side switch and usb power distribution switch TPS2042BDGN USB powered Ethernet switch from Texas Instruments to control which one of your devices draws power. Using the part will provide the power your application needs by requiring a voltage only of 2.7 V and not exceeding a voltage of 5.5 V. Its current limit is 0.75 to 1.25 A.
