Cerebot MC7 by Digilent is a versatile controller for electro-mechanical devices such as DC motors. Based on the dsPIC33FJ128MC706A, the board includes four Half Bridge circuits, a switching power supply, and several expansion connectors. The Half Bridge circuits are rated for 24V at up to 5A, and support closed loop feedback control with current and voltage measurement.
