Converting from AC to DC is simple when using a Schottky diode STPS3045CT rectifier from STMicroelectronics. This rectifier has a minimum operating temperature of -65 °C and a maximum of 175 °C. Its peak non-repetitive surge current is 220 A, while its maximum continuous forward current is 30 A. It is made in a dual common cathode configuration.
