Use this standard L79L12ACUTR linear regulator from STMicroelectronics to vary your voltage levels to your desired level. It has an overall accuracy of ±5 %. Its typical dropout voltage at current is 1.7@40mA V. This voltage regulation device's single output can produce a current up to 0.1 A. It only needs a voltage that does not exceed -35 V to effectively power your circuit. With a fixed output that has a voltage of -12 V, this is power management at its best. At a load regulation of 100mV and line regulation of 250mV a constant current can be produced at the output of your circuit.
