AD4695/96: 16-Bit, 16-Channel, 1 MSPS, Easy Drive Multiplexed SAR ADC

The AD4696 is the industry's first 16-channel, 16-bit SAR ADC with a multiplexed front end.

With EasyDrive mode applied to every channel, the AD4696 feature set allows for the simplification of signal chains by eliminating the need for certain circuit elements and broadening the direct compatibility of companion components.

Key Features and Benefits
EasyDrive mode per channel and on the reference input, broadens the selection of companion components that are directly compatible with the AD4696.
Advanced Channel Sequencer allows the user to modulate the effective sample rate on a per channel basis.
For the WLCSP model, 16 channels of high-quality conversion can be realized in the smallest area per channel that ADI has to offer (will be released in Q4 of 2021).

Applications
Communication: optical module, optical modem, optical line card, CFP2, photodiode, monitoring, EDFA, optical control
Instrumentation: ATE, ET&M,  Automated Test Equipment, multichannel, monitoring
Healthcare: VSM, multichannel, ECG
Consumer: multichannel, photodiode, multiplexed, augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), gaming

Evaluation Board
The AD4695/96 can be evaluated with the EVAL-AD4696FMCZ.
