- Using Power Control Functions of the DS1501/DS1511 Watchdog Real Time Clock. In this example, the DS1511 is used to wake the system once per minute, Output the time and date, Wait one second and power-down. An auxiliary battery is required to use the power control features. The circuit uses a DS80C323 3V 80C32-compatible microcontroller
