7805 linear regulator with a maximum output current of 1.5 A, maximum input voltage of 35 V, and a line and load regulation of 100 mV.
The L7805CV is a TO-220 three-pin linear regulator based on the commonly found 7805 that has a maximum input voltage of 35 V, a maximum output current of 1.5 A, and a fixed output voltage of 5 V. The line and load regulation of the L7805CV is 100 mV, the output voltage tolerance is 2%, and the power dissipation is internally limited with a 50°C/W junction to ambient and 5°C/W junction to case thermal resistance. The L7805CV integrates short-circuit protection, thermal shutdown, current limit, and safe-area–protection mechanisms, and the operating temperature range is 0°C to 125°C.
