The VEML6030 by Vishay is a high-accuracy ambient light sensor. With digital 16-bit resolution, a high-sensitivity photodiode, a low noise amplifier, and a standby power consumption of just 0.5 μA, it's ready for applications such as:
- Mobile device backlight dimming
- Ambient light sensing for industrial operation
- As an optical switch for consumer electronics
The VEML6030 is a lead-free, halogen-free, RoHS-compliant device with an operating temperature range of -25 to +85 °C, which means you can use it safely in a wide variety of devices and scenarios.
