Switch from an AC voltage to a DC voltage using a Schottky diode V60100C-E3/4W rectifier from Vishay. In order to ensure parts aren't damaged by bulk packaging, this product comes in tube packaging to add a little more protection by storing the loose parts in an outer tube. Its peak non-repetitive surge current is 320 A, while its maximum continuous forward current is 60 A. It is made in a dual common cathode configuration. This rectifier has a minimum operating temperature of -40 °C and a maximum of 150 °C.
