Carbon Black was founded in 2011 by a group of US National Security Agency ‘offensive’ hackers who, recognising that front-line antivirus solutions weren’t enough to stop sophisticated threats, spawned the idea to proactively record and centrally store all endpoint activity and data.  Seeing the significant potential of this approach, Carbon Black introduced its first comprehensive Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solution in 2016.
Forged through innovation and a commitment to redefining endpoint security, Carbon Black transformed the cybersecurity industry by creating a category. Today it continues to evolve to meet the demands of a dynamic and exceedingly complex cybersecurity landscape.
