Developing autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) is a complex undertaking that requires expertise in robotics, artificial intelligence (AI), computer vision, and other fields. These sophisticated machines must accurately perceive their surroundings, determine their location, and navigate efficiently while avoiding obstacles and ensuring safety. Additionally, they generate a significant amount of sensor data, which requires efficient collection, storage, and analysis to support their critical functions.
Arrow, ADI, and eInfochips have partnered to create the Arrow SmartRover AMR reference design to address these demanding requirements and accelerate AMR development. It integrates ADI sensor fusion technology and Trinamic motor drivers for safe and efficient navigation. The software stack is built on Robot Operating System (ROS2) framework. The Arrow SmartRover AMR helps stakeholders speed time to market for autonomous robot development and deployment.
