A medical technician operates a modern diagnostic machine with a large digital display in a clinical setting. The screen shows a numeric reading of 0.3 while the device is in use. The environment includes additional medical equipment in the background, emphasizing a professional healthcare context. The Analog Devices name and the phrase "Ahead of What's Possible" appear clearly in the upper right corner.

The ADHV4710 is a high voltage, high power, high speed operational amplifier optimized for driving up to ±1A at ±1300V/μs into capacitive and resistive loads. Combining a high voltage amplifier with low voltage analog circuitry and an SPI programmable digital engine, it’s ideally suited for high voltage applications such as automated test equipment (ATE), programmable power supplies and piezo drive.

The ADHV4710 has extensive configurability for high voltage signal chains. The amplifier achieves high slew rate and bandwidth at high gain but can alternatively be configured in low gain for high voltage input and output. External transconductance resistor RSLEW enables stability under any gain and adjustable slew rate. External compensation capacitor CCOMP enables the amplifier output to stably drive unlimited capacitive loads.

A proprietary high voltage BCDMOS process, novel high voltage architecture, and thermally enhanced package fromAnalogDevices Inc.enable this high-performance amplifier. Fault protection and monitoring are programmable using SPI. Additional analog features extend functionality: junction temperature sensor voltage output and adjustable shutdown delay. The ADHV4710 operates on high voltage dual supplies up to ±55V, asymmetrical dual supplies, or a single supply of 110V.
