Versatile, Smart Motor Control with STMicroelectronics’ STSPIN32F0

Published By

If you’re looking for an integrated, three-phase brushless motor control solution, look no further than the STSPIN32F0 from STMicroelectronics. Capable of driving MOSFETs and IGBTs, with the option of different driving modes, the smart STSPIN32F0 is incredibly versatile. It is ideal for anything motor controlled, from vacuum cleaners to drones, and everything in between.

The STSPIN32F0’s compact 49 mm2 system-in-package (SIP) usability is driven by its collection of integrated componentry. An ARM Cortex-M0 microprocessor provides the SIP with its functional backbone, complete with 4 kB of system RAM, 32 kB of flash for application memory and up to 32 MHz clocking speeds. The STSPIN32F0 also features a 3.3 V DC/DC buck converter and a 12 V LDO regulator for circuit protection, both with on-chip thermal monitoring abilities. A 12-bit ADC converter and 16 general I/O ports make it usable in practically any system, especially with the STSPIN32F0’s debugging serial interface.

The robust STSPIN32F0 is effective at making any motor-driven system smarter. It provides a programmable solution for your robot, industrial control or other similar appliance.
