The MX1A-11NW is a Cherry Americas SPST switch for use in mechanical desktop keyboards. The SPST switch has a maximum operating voltage of 12 V AC and DC, a maximum current rating of 10 mA, and a dielectric strength of 500 VAC. The switch has a minimum of 50 million mechanical and electrical cycles, an operating force of 0.58 N, and an operating speed of 400 mm/s. The SPST switch has a total travel of 4.06 mm, a maximum bounce time of 5 ms, and an actuator length of 3.6 mm. The configuration of the switch is normally open, and the contact material used in the switch is a gold/silver alloy. The operating temperature of the MX1A-11NW is –10°C to 70°C, and the RoHS design makes it applicable to EU markets.
