The AR8035-AL1A-R chip from Qualcomm is an Atheros’ 4th generation, single port 10/100/1000 Mbps Tri-speed Ethernet PHY. It is a low-cost, low-power-consumption solution that not only supports RGMII interface to the MAC, but also integrates cable diagnostics and a voltage regulator on the chip.
