Use this high side switch and usb power distribution switch TPS2066AD USB powered Ethernet switch from Texas Instruments to control which one of your devices draws power. With a small input voltage of 2.7 V and a max of 5.5 V, this will supply sufficient power to your circuit. Its current limit is 1.6 A.
