The RLF-D series from TDK offers a family of automotive-grade low RDC power inductors. These inductors are wire-wound and magnetically shielded with low DC resistance – perfect for general power circuits in automotive applications. They are also AEC-Q200 compliant, meaning they meet the standards set to confirm high reliability of automotive electronic components, including high-temperature and humidity resistance, thermal shock resistance, and durability. The RLF-D series features excellent DC bias characteristic, high rated DC current, and an operating temperature range of -40°C to 150°C. Some applications for this power inductor family include transmission or brake controls, engine control units, and power steering controls.
