Low / High side, precision, bidirectional current sense amplifiers
The TSC201x and TSC21x series precision bidirectional current sense amplifiers can sense the current via a shunt resistor over a wide range of common mode voltages, regardless of the supply voltage. The TSC201x family is well suited for precise measurement of faster signals and applications requiring wide common mode input voltage range. The TSC21x family is well suited for extremely accurate measurement of slower signals.
The TSC201x bidirectional current sense amplifiers are able to sense very low drop voltages as low as 10 mV full scale, minimizing the measurement error. The TSC201x devices are available in three versions with fixed gains, including the TSC2010 (20 V/V), TSC2011 (60 V/V), and TSC2012 (100 V/V). The TSC201x devices support a common mode voltage from -20V to +70V, and operate over the broad supply voltage range from 2.7V to 5.5V.
The TSC21x bidirectional current sense amplifiers are designed with a zero-drift architecture, which can achieve high precision and stability over temperature. The TSC21x devices are available in three versions with fixed gains, including the TSC213 (50 V/V), TSC212 (1000 V/V), and TSC210 (200 V/V). The TSC21x devices support a common mode voltage from -0.3V to +26V, and operate over the broad supply voltage range from 2.7V to 26V.
The TSC201x and TSC21x devices operate over the industrial temperature range from -40°C to +125°C, and automotive grade parts are available for both families. The TSC201x and TSC21x devices are supported by the ST 10-Year Longevity Commitment.
