After launching the Agilex™ 5 AXE5000 Devkit, Arrow is excited to announce the brother AXC3000 starter kit featuring the first production device of Altera® Agilex™ 3 family.

The Altera® Agilex™ 3 series devices deliver excellent performance-per-watt in small form factors that make them ideal for low to mid-range FPGA applications. Logic sizes range from 25k - 135k LEs and scale down to 15mm x 15mm through various package sizes. Agilex™ 3 is the industry’s first low-end FPGA infused with AI through the adoption of AI tensor blocks in the enhanced DSP block, delivering high performance AI and DSP capabilities. In addition, the Agilex™ 3 achieves high performance due to second-generation Hyperflex™ FPGA Architecture. The AXC3000 board has a HyperRAM memory, where this memory can be used for user data storage. The Agilex™ 3 device with the memory allows this kit to be used in various applications including camera and vision applications. Configuration of the Agilex™ 3 FPGA is done via a 256 Mbit flash, which has additional free space for further data storage. Support starter labs and first design examples are included with this kit. Due to the low power consumption of the Agilex™ 3 C-series, the AXC3000 can be powered via USB, or via an additional 5V power supply.

Arrow’s AXC3000 Starter Kit enables users to evaluate the features of Altera® Agilex™ 3 C-series and speed up development. With the CRUVI HS connector and Arduino MKR standard pads, various adapter boards can be connected to this kit to further create other applications. Arrow provides a starter guide and demo designs for the AXC3000 on the Github. The board includes a full programmer and debugger for the FPGA.
