Compliment GPS/GNSS location with SSID position inference and additional environment sensor data (IMU+Temp).
Using SiW917 Wi-Fi6 for Industrial-grade connection to communicate GPS location, this demo is based on Sparkfun development boards with Qwiic connectors to make it easy to configure and modify with other sensors to tweak it for your own application.

  • SiWG917 SoC connects to multiple sensor modules:
  • SparkFun GNSS receiver (MAX-M10S)
  • SparkFun 6DoF IMU (BMI270)
  • SparkFun humidity and temperature sensor (Si7021)
  • Sensors connected using Qwiic connectors over I2C bus
  • SiWG917 device connects to configured Wi-Fi for internet access
  • Device then connects to Azure IoT Hub
