Description

  • STDES-FANPRE01, general purpose Application Board is designed with a circular form factor (inner diameter 10 mm, outer diameter 32 mm) to perform predictive maintenance and condition monitoring in a typical fan and small motor application use case. The firmware runs on the STM32F412CE microcontroller and enables accelerometer data acquisition, motion processing analysis for predictive maintenance purposes, rotation speed calculation in RPM, and bearing temperature monitoring. The predictive maintenance algorithm helps detect anomalies during equipment operation through configurable thresholds applied to Frequency Domain Monitoring (FDM), which uses FFT processing to generate vibration power spectra for each axis, and Time Domain Monitoring (TDM) based on acceleration peak and acceleration RMS processing
