Stacks allows circuit designers the flexibility to optimize height available, reduce component count and free up board real estate. Nevertheless, should the need arise, custom-designed stacks can be produced to fulfill unique customer needs regarding dimension and bulk capacitance. The product line includes T54 EE case (High-Rel) and T59 EE case (Industrial) solutions in packages of 2, 3, 4 and 6 devices.
What it is:

Stacked Polymer Tantalum capacitors are a surface mountable solution that provides maximum capacitance and voltage for space constrained applications. Tantalum technology is the preferred choice in applications where volumetric efficiency, stable electrical parameters, high reliability, and long service life are primary considerations.
