Many microprocessor-driven circuits can be sensitive to varying voltages. Microchip Technology brings a solution to help control these levels with their MCP1631HV-500E/ST current controller. With an output that has a voltage of 5 V, this is power management at its best. This current mode controller supports buck topology. Its single PWM output produces a current of 250(Min) mA. You can operate this at a switching frequency of 2000 kHz. In order to ensure parts aren't damaged by bulk packaging, this product comes in tube packaging to add a little more protection by storing the loose parts in an outer tube. This current mode controller has an operating temperature range of -40 °C to 125 °C. This device has a minimum operating supply voltage of 3.5 V and a maximum of 16 V.
