The Type 2DT (LBAA0XV2DT-158) module is LoRa Edge™ solution specially designed for Asset management using LoRa technology. This module offers ultra-low power design for long battery life, superior sensitivity, and high flexibility to build low-cost Internet of Things (IoT) tracking devices for both indoor and outdoor environments.

Module Overview
With just 9.98 × 8.70 × 1.74 mm, Murata developed a multi-technology fused LPWAN geolocation module, offering ultra-low power design for long battery life, superior sensitivity, and high flexibility to build customized low-cost tracking devices, suited for Internet of Things (IoT) asset tracking applications for both indoor and outdoor environments.
Based upon Semtech latest LoRa Edge™ LR1110 solution, the Type 2DT module also features temperature compensated crystal oscillator (TCXO), crystal oscillators, LNA, RF switch, SPI interface and various GPIOs.
Designed for deployment globally, the module supports LoRa ISM bands from 860 MHz to 930 MHz, Wi-Fi® passive scanning 802.11b/g/n, and Low-power GNSS Scanning.
The device has a single part number globally, simplifying customer supply chains. Accommodating a wide range of temperatures, the module can operate from −40 to 85°C.
The new Type 2DT module will help designers to develop solutions that meet the most demanding requirements, especially in Internet of Things (IoT) asset tracking applications such as asset location, asset recovery, traceability, supply chain, logistics, cold chain monitoring, inventory management, loss & theft prevention, amongst many more.
