Texas InstrumentsCC3100BOOST

RF Wireless Development System

  • Dev Kit Description

To update the CC3100BOOST flash, use radio performance tools, perform network processing logs for advanced debugging, or use TI’s SimpleLink™ Studio for CC3100 MCU emulator (PC-based), you will also need the Advanced Emulation BoosterPack (CC31XXEMUBOOST).  It is recommended to have at least one CC31XXEMUBOOST board to flash CC3100BOOST boards.

This version of the SimpleLink Wi-Fi CC3100 BoosterPack is based on pre-production silicon, which can be used for evaluation and software development. Kits and QFN devices, as well as module samples based on production silicon meeting datasheet performances will be available from TI or authorized distributors later this summer.

The SimpleLink Wi-Fi® CC3100 BoosterPack can be used to connect to TI LaunchPad evaluation kits (software examples provided for MSP-EXP430F5529LP), and with the Advanced Emulation BoosterPack for SimpleLink Wi-Fi CC3100 BoosterPack to connect to PC for MCU Emulation using SimpleLink Studio for CC3100. This kit can also be connected to other platforms through pins – use the programming guide for instructions on porting driver and sample code.
