Product Description:

Riedon expands its extensive line of power wire wound resistors to now include these robust aluminum housed braking resistors. Available in power ratings from 60 to 500 watts in three different mechanical configurations, these durable components provide exceptional heat transfer and short circuit performance when compared to the competition. These rugged devices are also far less sensitive to heatsink requirements than a comparable TO package device of similar power rating, many if which may require a cold plate to operate at the same rated power.
