The BLED112-V1 by Silicon Labs is a very small, smart, USB dongle that allows for Bluetooth 4.0 communication in both master and slave modes with up to eight connections. The BLED112-V1 is a programmable 8051 microcontroller that allows up communication at up to 40 meters and includes development with BGScript scripting language in an on-dongle application, making it a stand-alone device useful for a wide variety of applications. Compatible with devices running Windows, Linux, MAC OS, and Android operating systems, and requiring only about 4kb RAM and 70kb flash memory, you can use this dongle with nearly any device containing a USB port.
