This triac T1225T-6I thyristor manufactured from STMicroelectronics is a bistable switch, it will conduct when there is a current trigger and continue to be on when there is a forward bias voltage applied to it. This device has a surge current rating of 95 A. In order to ensure parts aren't damaged by bulk packaging, this product comes in tube packaging to add a little more protection by storing the loose parts in an outer tube. Its repetitive peak forward blocking voltage is 600 V, while its repetitive peak reverse voltage is 600 V. This SCR thyristor has a minimum operating temperature of -40 °C and a maximum of 125 °C.
