Dev Kit Description
The STEVAL-IHM026V1 demonstration board, by integrating the touch-sensing (TS) software library and the three-phase brushless direct current (BLDC) motor control (MC) software library, allows the implementation of a 3-phase brushless motor control application in which user control is managed through a few capacitive keys.
Other peripherals, not used in the demonstration firmware, have been included in theSTEVAL-IHM026V1 board in order to make it flexible for further development.
The first part of this application note describes the layout and physical design guidelines to be used in touch-sensing applications. After a brief description of the TS software library and the three-phase BLDC motor control software library, the integration of both libraries within one motor control oriented firmware, including capacitive touch-sensitive control.
