A structured approach to ensure a smooth transition to the cloud
The process of migrating to AWS with Arrow is guided by the Migration Acceleration Program (MAP), which provides a structured approach to ensure a smooth and efficient transition to the cloud.
The MAP framework consists of three phases:
- Assess
- Mobilize
- Migrate
Each phase is governed by a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) that provides best practice guidance to ensure consistency in processes and communication, minimizing risks and increasing positive outcomes during delivery.
Arrow offers two main delivery options for AWS migrations:
- Fully managed: Arrow handles the entire migration project from start to finish
- Hybrid option: allows for a blend of skills and expertise from both Arrow and the partner's AWS technical team
Arrow & AWS support
Throughout the migration process, Arrow and AWS provide various support mechanisms, all following AWS best practice. Arrow lead the engagement with project management and create the overall project plan, we can also support partners in accessing the generous funding opportunities available through the Migration Acceleration Program offered by AWS to help customers in their migration to AWS.
