- TIDA-00224, Industrial Ethernet PHY Brick with Fiber-Optic Interface. This reference design demonstrates multimode fiber-optic Ethernet communication. Its intension is to be used in substation equipment communication. Ethernet communication has been proven as an efficient and flexile method for substation standardization and interoperability. This design features a low power, low cost design to meet different bandwidth and different transmission distance needs. End users can quickly apply it to different substation equipment Ethernet communication designs. IEC61000-4-2-Level 3 ESD performance has been tested on this design to comply with IEC specification
