onsemiThe FUSB340 from ON Semiconductor is a 2:1 data switch for USB SuperSpeed Gen1 and Gen2 – meaning it supports data rates of up to 10 Gbps. With a typical bandwidth of 10 GHz, the switch provides low active power (12 µA typical) and low shutdown power (< 1 µA max), as well as 2 kV HBM ESD protection. Supported high speed data transmission protocols include USB 3.1, PCI Express, Gen 3, SATA, Fibre Channel, and Display Port 1.3. This SuperSpeed data switch is targeted at the mobile device market, including applications such as smartphones, tablets, and notebooks, as well as other Type-C applications where a reversible cable requires a data switch.
