Product Description

 

The 9-Axis Motion Shield from Arduino will give your Arduino board the ability to measure motion, rotation and magnetic fields in a snap. The board interfaces directly on top of your Arduino board of choice.

 

Once on your Arduino, the shield's integrated triaxial 14-bit accelerometer, triaxial 16-bit gyroscope (with 2000 deg/sec read rate) and triaxial geomagnetic sensor will be able to take robust measurements on all nine of those axes, which are then processed by an on-board 32-bit microcontroller. This leaves your Arduino free to run other processes while still measuring motion.

 

It also comes preassembled out of the box, so you can plug it directly into your Arduino. All you need to do is run the included BSX3.0 FusionLIb software and you're good to go.
