The MK10DN512VLK10 measures only 12mm x 12mm and has an extended operating temperature of -40 to +105 °C. It has multiple low-power modes and communication interfaces (one each of SDHC and I2S modules, two each of CAN, SPI, and I2C modules, and four UART modules). This rich combination of low-power, mixed-signal operation in a small package with an extended temperature range make it well suited to applications such as HVAC systems, flow meters, and remote sensors.
