Texas InstrumentsThe SN65HVD233DR is a 3.3-V CAN bus transceiver, supporting data rates up to 1 Mbps, with extended common-mode range of -7 V to 12 V, and requiring just a single 3.3-V supply. The SN65HVD233DR follows the ISO 11898 standard, is GIFT-/ICT-compliant, and incorporates multiple protection systems, including bus fault protection, bus ESD protection, thermal shutdown, and power-up and -down with glitch-free bus operation. The SN65HVD233DR has a high input impedance, allowing for operation with up to 120 nodes, and the LVTTL I/Os are 5-V–tolerant. When in standby, the SN65HVD233DR consumes 200 µA of current, and an ultra-low-current sleep mode consumes 50 nA. The SN65HVD233DR has an operational temperature range of -40°C to 125°C and is packaged in an eight-pin SOP package. Applications for the SN65HVD233DR include industrial automation systems, motor and robotic controls, climate control, and backplane communication and control.
