More about NovTech

NovTech, Inc. was founded in 1998 by a group of engineers with a wide assortment of skills. From day one, their goal has been to provide rapid system solutions to OEMs.

NovTech has designed and produced over 300 turn-key solutions. Areas of expertise include everything from 8-bit microcontrollers to 32-bit ARM, PowerQUICC, and x86 processors, as well as analog circuits, ASIC design, SoC's, and FPGA development. NovTech is experienced in all aspects of high-speed, real-time hardware, firmware, and software design.

NovTech prides itself on on being a one-stop shop for electronics system requirements. They specialize in rapid prototyping, and can deliver systems at any stage of the product development cycle: from concept to production grade prototypes. NovTech routinely provide PCB layout, prototyping, and troubleshooting services. They also specialize in specifications, component selection and qualification, electrical design, logic core design, embedded programming, boot-loaders and OS porting.

NovTech Services

NovTech engineers specialize in every facet of the design cycle and can provide specifications, schematics, PCB layout, prototypes, software, either individually or as a part of a product design package

Specification

A well written engineering specification is fundamental to beginning the design cycle. NovTech specifications are detailed and accurate, allowing you to request quotes and better plan your design. NovTech can provide specifications to meet various industry standards, including UL, FDA, CE, and FCC certifications.

Schematics

NovTech engineers possess expert knowledge of all the industry standard CAD tools, including OrCAD and Altium Designer. They use these tools to generate electrical specifications, block diagrams and schematics required for further stages of the design process. They can also generate schematics and reverse engineer PCB's if original design files are missing.

Digital Logic Design

NovTech has the tools, experience and knowledge to implement any digital logic design. They can fit signal routes, combinatorial logic, and state machines all on a single logic chip (CPLD, FPGA, etc.), saving you time on an otherwise costly design. NovTech routinely works with chips from the leading manufacturers, including Altera, Xilinx, QuickLogic, and Cypress. Furthermore, NovTech is a recognized partner of Altera and QuickLogic and can provide logic solutions in various standard formats, such as schematics, ABEL, VHDL, and Verilog.

PCB Layout & Routing

Proper signal routing is key to a quality PCB. NovTech can completely design a PCB from top to bottom using advanced layout techniques and industry wide best practices. They work with standard Gerber files used by most PCB manufacturing houses. They can help you select the right manufacturer to suit your needs, and perform all follow-up procedures to ensure a smooth process. Your resulting PCB will feature a robust design, virtually immune to electrical noise and interference. NovTech has designed PCB's ranging from complex power distribution circuits to compact embedded computer the size of a credit card.

Prototyping

NovTech maintains relationships with some of the best assembly houses in the country to help you to get your prototypes quickly. NovTech's high quality work and tight quality control processes reduce potential assembly mistakes saving time and money. NovTech sources and purchase parts, supervise the assembly process, and test and debug each prototype, creating a unique all-inclusive prototyping solution.
