Thales eSecurity
Formerly Gemalto
Gemalto was founded in 2006 and focused on protecting businesses, governments and individuals from data breaches and identity theft. Their goal was to bring trust to the world’s digital transformation.
Gemalto was purchased in 2019 and is now Thales eSecurity, a division of the Thales Group.
Thales eSecurity focuses on two core technologies ‒ digital identification and data protection ‒ that counter the two root causes of cyberattacks: identity theft and unencrypted data. Thales eSecurity solutions are used by over 30,000 organizations in 180 countries.
