Arrow helped Newtest get its Bone Exercise Monitor to the retail market.

As Finland-based manufacturer Newtest Oy turned its attention to the retail market, it also turned to Arrow for guidance and support in developing a technology platform for a new generation of its fitness monitoring equipment.

Arrow engineers worked closely with Newtest’s research and development team, assisting with the platform development and the first product based on it, the Bone Exercise Monitor. The Bone Exercise Monitor helps users increase bone mass and prevent osteoporosis.

Arrow also is providing Newtest with components and logistics services. “The technical support is complemented by Arrow’s logistical strength, which could become increasingly valuable as our business extends globally,” said Marko Ala-Ketola, sales and marketing director, Newtest.
